That’s a wrap on truffle season
•
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us under the trees for the hunts, the stories, the long lunches and the laughs. We’re already counting down to next winter, when the truffles return and the farm comes alive all over again.
Until then, take a look back at the season in our journal. A little mud, a lot of smiles, and some very good dogs.
At Beltana Farm, winter is our favourite time of year
.
Under the earth of our oak and hazelnut trees is one of the country’s leading truffle farms, and from late June through mid August, the place comes to life. As the air cools and the ground hardens, we wait (impatiently) for the season’s first truffles to push through.
Come and experience it all with us. Join a guided truffle hunt, learn how we find and harvest them, then settle in for a long lunch or fireside feast built around the day’s finds. It’s a celebration of winter, from the paddock to the plate.
Connect with us to keep up to date.
